Sad news to report: According to Claire H. Jordan at the Harry Potter Network, John Nettleship (who'd come to embrace having been JKR's inspiration for Severus Snape) passed away early yesterday morning. An official notice from Mr Nettleship's home in Caerwent can be found here. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.
